Simon Alexander Legge

Simon Alexander Legge is a senior fintech specialist focused on the impact of decentralisation and tokenisation, with nearly 30 years' experience in banking, finance and private equity. He studied economics at Frankfurt and has consulted, invested and worked with financial institutions, private family partners and several startups across the EU, Switzerland, the UK and the US. A Freeman of the City of London and Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers, Simon qualified with the FCA in the UK and FINRA in the US, and has served as board member, director, fund manager, investor and non-executive director of multiple companies globally, with a focus on AI and machine learning in fintech, health and medtech, and infrastructure including energy, natural resources and transportation. His work with governments and international financial institutions across multiple regions centres on developing better processes and standards for economic development, financial stability and international cooperation using distributed ledger technology.
